The Wexford Joint Planning Commission was originally created by 11 participating municipalities as shown on the map at the bottom of the "Zoning Ordinance" page to provide planning and zoning services for the entire jurisdiction. 

Michigan provides (via the Joint Municipal Planning Act) for two or more municipalities to join together to create a single planning commission for purposes of planning and zoning.  More about this joint planning commission can be found on our "about" page.

The Wexford Joint Planning Commission office hours are: Tuesdays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Wednesdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (NOTE: Lunch hour is noon to 1 usually), and Fridays 1:15 pm - 5:00 pm. (These hours may vary based on scheduled appointments, site inspections, training, illness, personal time off, and other matters beyond our control))
